CONCOURS TV PROGRAMME PREMIERE AND LAUNCH OF THE 2008 REGULATIONS
WEDNESDAY 20^TH FEBRUARY 2008 at 6.30 PM

Greetings from the Schweppes Africa Concours d’Elegance organisers.

We hope you will be able to attend the Schweppes Africa Concours d’Elegance TV programme premiere and launch of the 2008 regulations on Wednesday 20th February 2008 at 6.30 p.m. in the Nairobi Club dining room. This venue proved popular last year and suits the style and status of the Concours.

This is a major event on the social calendar for motoring enthusiasts and the dress code is jacket and tie. The evening provides an ideal opportunity for the submission of entries for this year’s Concours.

The regulations are being printed and we hope to distribute them before the TV programme premiere.

CONVENIENT AND CENTRAL

The Nairobi Club is convenient and central for the majority of Concours competitors and officials. The Club has an entrance on Haile Selassie Avenue near the junction with the Ngong Road and another entrance along Hospital Road (the road serving the Kenyatta National Hospital). The second entrance is near the tennis courts and leads to a driveway to the main Club house. Parking is available at the front, side and rear of the main Club building. The dining room is approached from the Club’s reception area where there will be a notice board.

Alfa Romeo Owners Club and Concours officials will be ready to welcome you from 6.00 pm if you wish to arrive early to avoid spending time in traffic. The sketch map is intended to help competitors who are not familiar with the location of Nairobi Club and the two entrances to the grounds.

LUCKY PRIZES

Competitors who enter the Schweppes Africa Concours d’Elegance on, or before 20^th February  2008 will have the chance of winning prizes at a free lucky draw at the TV programme premiere.

DVDs AND VIDEO TAPES

DVDs and video tapes of the 2007 Concours TV programme will be on sale at the launch function. The charge for DVDs will be 1,500 shillings each and a video tape will cost 1,000 shillings. There will be a lucky draw for a complimentary DVD, or video tape during the evening.
