Way back in the seventeenth century the French nobility gathered in the parks of Paris on high days and holidays. They travelled in their best horse drawn carriages wearing fine clothes for a social meeting which became known as the "Concours d'Elegance "(a gathering of elegance). ........more

The Kenya Motor Sports Federation (KMSF) has approved the regulations for the 2008 Schweppes Africa Concours d'Elegance which has been listed on the motor sport calendar for September 28th, 2008 at the Nairobi Racecourse.

The annual vehicle beauty contest will be the 38th in the annual series organized by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club for all makes and types of cars, pick ups, station wagons and motorcycles. The regulations are shown on the Concours website which is www.concourskenya.com and printed copies will be distributed to potential competitors in March........more
